Pasta is an affordable and loved food throughout the world. It’s easy and fast to cook and there are hundreds of recipes. It provides our body with essential nutrients. It gives us beneficial carbohydrates and it’s a good source of fiber. It also provides us with selenium and manganese, both very important for our health. Selenium is a mineral with antioxidant properties and it protects our cells. Manganese is a mineral that helps us metabolize carbohydrates and regulates our blood sugar. It also contains vitamin B9. 650 gr puff pastry, separated in 2 sheets
3 apples
60 gr butter
80 gr brown sugar
40 gr dried yellow raisins
Orange juice of ½ orange
1 shot glass of liqueur Grand Marnier (optional)
A little grated cinnamon
1 egg (for brushing the apple pies before baking)
