Digital detoxing means that you are switching off all mobiles, smartphones, tablets, laptops, and computers for a certain period of time. It may be for a day or even more – that sounds scary, right? No more checking your emails every 5 minutes, no more posting on Instagram or checking your Facebook feed, no more notifications. You pretend that your smartphone – tablet – laptop don’t exist!

Try to share your detox with others in your environment. Encourage them to join you – that would be ideal. In this way, none will be distracted by social media or other digital distractions.
